In the ancient Mayan civilization, K'inich, a brave hunter, and Ixchel, the daughter of the village's high priest, fall deeply in love. Despite their forbidden romance, they plan to escape their village and seek refuge in the jungle. Building a new life amidst the ancient ruins, they live harmoniously, until news of their love and escape reaches the village. Warriors are sent to capture them, but a divine intervention allows K'inich and Ixchel to escape, leaving the warriors bewildered. For years, they find solace and love within the jungle, becoming legends whispered through generations, defying societal norms and embracing eternal love.
